Tour Cedar Rapids Bicycle Infrastructure with "Ride the Districts!" Bike Ride

Residents are encouraged to familiarize themselves with bicycle infrastructure in Cedar Rapids by joining the annual “Ride the Districts!” bike ride at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 10. Participants are encouraged to register for this free event on the city’s website.  

The ride kicks off at Ellis Park near the pool, giving riders a firsthand opportunity to experience various bicycle facilities. The bike ride will feature upcoming and recent projects like the Cherokee Trail and Morgan Creek Trail.   

 The 15.1-mile route will begin and end at Ellis Park, 2000 Ellis Blvd. NW (meet near pool). 

  • Stop 1 – Cherokee Trail Phase 2B update (Wiley Blvd NW and Cherokee Trail)
  • Stop 2 - Morgan Creek Park, snacks and update on the Morgan Creek Trail
  • Stop 3 - Cherokee Trail Phase III and Phase IV update
All ages and skill abilities are welcome to join the event.
