Congresswoman Hinson (IA-02) voted to overturn President Biden's recent changes to Title IX, which redefine sex as gender identity and alter protections against sex-based discrimination in education programs receiving federal financial assistance. Hinson issued a statement following the vote.
"The Biden Administration took an axe to Title IX - a landmark policy to protect women - to appease their radical base who believe men can get pregnant. Let me be clear: biological men should not compete in girls' sports or be allowed in girls' locker rooms. I will always stand up for women and girls and call out the Biden Administration's radical nonsense," said Congresswoman Ashley Hinson.
