City of Cedar Rapids recently issued the following announcement.
After successful implementation of a new digital payment system for utility bills in November 2021, the City of Cedar Rapids has now launched a similar enhanced digital payment system for non-utility bill types, including:
- Rental Property Management Fees
- False Burglar Alarm Fees
- Fire Inspection, Permit, & False Alarm Fees
- Public Improvement Assessments
- Nuisance Abatements
- Other/Miscellaneous Billing
Users can quickly register an account, save their preferred payment method, and subscribe to Auto-Pay or schedule payments for future dates. Customers in a hurry can also choose to make a one-time, non-registered payment.
Payments can be made via eCheck/ACH, debit or credit card or by linking a verified PayPal or PayPal Credit account.
The eCheck/ACH payment method is completely free of charge to users.
