Congresswoman Ashley Hinson (R-IA-02) has co-sponsored the Israel Security Assistance Support Act, a piece of legislation that mandates President Biden to deliver Congressionally approved military aid to Israel. This crucial national security bill was passed in the House with bipartisan support.

Congresswoman Hinson commented on the matter, stating, "President Biden hit a new low in his failed presidency when he withheld Congressionally approved lethal military aid to Israel, caving to the radical Left wing of his party and abandoning our staunchest ally in the Middle East. This legislation will require Biden to send Israel lethal military aid so they can defend themselves and defeat barbaric Hamas terrorists who are backed by Iran. While Biden sides with terrorists, I will always stand with Israel."

In terms of background information, President Biden's attempts to withhold weapons without informing Congress and threats to hold additional shipments if Israel enters Rafah directly contradict the will of the American people.

The Israel Security Assistance Support Act reasserts Israel's right to self-defense and imposes a strict deadline of 15 days for delivering currently withheld defense articles and services. Additionally, it sets a 30-day limit for the Secretary of Defense and Secretary of State to obligate funds appropriated for assistance to Israel.
