Washington, D.C. - Congresswoman Ashley Hinson has announced a change in her office's leadership for the upcoming 119th Congress. Sophie Seid, who currently serves as Deputy Chief of Staff, will be stepping into the role of Chief of Staff. Seid has been with Hinson since 2021, initially joining as Communications Director before advancing to her current position. Her experience also includes work on the House Foreign Affairs Committee.
The outgoing Chief of Staff, Sam Pritchard, will continue to support the transition in an advisory capacity.
Hinson expressed confidence in Seid's abilities: “I’m thrilled that Sophie will take on the new role of Chief of Staff and lead our team. She has been a trusted advisor for years and shares my passion for serving Iowans. She will help me carry out my mission of restoring fiscal responsibility, improving safety and security, and advocating for rural Iowa while providing the best possible customer service to constituents.”
