Marion Shop Where I Live is a full service marketplace, where businesses can create their own virtual storefront, add products and services, and market their business to new customers. In this workshop, you'll come ready to register, and our partner Member Marketplace, will guide you through the basic setup of a shop, answering any questions as you work through the process. Each step of the process will be demonstrated, then we will allow time for businesses to complete the step, troubleshooting along the way. The goal of this webinar is to allow YOU, the business, to set up a virtual storefront on Shop Where I Live and add products with the guidance of experts.
Session One 8-9 am The Basics: registration, store settings, policies, and shipping.
Session Two 9:30-10:30 am Adding Products: descriptions, and more in depth processes on shipping, SEO and more.
If you have had zero experience with the marketplace, you can come with just a few items ready and have a storefront setup within the timeframe of the workshop. If you have registered, or have had some experience but need to learn more, add products, or would like a refresher on policies or tips and tricks, you can attend the second hour only. Select one or both sessions when registering.
