City of Marion recently issued the following announcement.
Any Marion resident over the age of 18 who did not receive a copy of The National Community Survey™ by mail is now invited to participate in the online version of the survey.
It is designed to evaluate how the city government is serving residents, to gauge perceptions of the City and to provide useful comparisons with peer cities.
The survey, administered by Polco and the National Research Center, Inc., is now available online at https://polco.us/opmarion2021.
“We value the opinions and perspectives of the people we serve,” said Mayor Nick AbouAssaly.
“I encourage everyone living in Marion to take the survey and help us reach higher in providing high-quality services and the best opportunities for all Marion residents to enjoy a great quality of life.”
With questions identical to the random sample survey previously mailed to 2,700 households, the online survey asks about the quality of life in the community, local policies, demographics, ratings of local government services and resident use of services.
Residents who received one of the mail-in surveys are asked to complete that instead of the opt-in survey.
The deadline to participate in either version of the survey is Feb. 10, 2022.
