City of Marion recently issued the following announcement.
The Marion Public Library will be making permanent changes to the Uptown Library hours. Starting Jan. 15, 2022, the Uptown Library located at 1064 7th Ave in the Uptown Marion District will be open as follows:
Monday - Thursday: 9 a.m.-7 p.m.
Friday: 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Saturday: 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Sunday: Noon - 4 p.m.
This change comes after the closure of the MPL Tech Station on Jan. 14, 2022 located at 5650 Kacena Ave in Marion.
