Lutheran Church of the Resurrection recently issued the following announcement.
In January, we will be collecting items for Personal Care Kits for Willis Dady Shelter.
We will have the collection bins set up in the gathering space for the following items:
- Shampoo and Conditioner (travel sized)
- Body wash/bar soap
- Toothbrushes, toothpaste, dental floss
- Deodorant
- Wash cloth OR wet wipes
- Gallon-size Ziploc bags
If you would like to make a monetary donation, we will use the funds to purchase items necessary to fill out the kits. You can bring cash or check to the church office, labeled "January Service Project," or donate online at https://lcrmarion.org/giving.html - click on the yellow "donate" button and select "January Service Project."
You can also Venmo a donation to Resurrection Lutheran (@LCRMarion).
