How did home prices perform in Fairfax during the third quarter of 2021?

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2021 in Fairfax rose by $64,000 while total sales increased by 9.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2021, there were 24 homes sold, with a median sale price of $290,250 - a 28.3% increase over the $226,250 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 22 homes sold in Fairfax in the third quarter of 2020.

The median sales tax in Fairfax for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $3,172, approximately 1.1% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2021.
