Home prices decreased in Hiawatha during the third quarter of 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2021 in Hiawatha fell by $10,000 while total sales increased by 51.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2021, there were 41 homes sold, with a median sale price of $205,000 - a 4.7% decrease over the $215,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 27 homes sold in Hiawatha in the third quarter of 2020.

The median sales tax in Hiawatha for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $2,889, approximately 1.4% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2021.
