Falling home prices in Central City in the third quarter of 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2021 in Central City fell by $17,500 while total sales increased by 10%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2021, there were 11 homes sold, with a median sale price of $125,000 - a 12.3% decrease over the $142,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 10 homes sold in Central City in the third quarter of 2020.

The median sales tax in Central City for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $2,207, approximately 1.8% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2021.
