Mount Vernon home prices fall in August 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in August 2019 in Mount Vernon fell by $49,700 while total sales increased by 100%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In August 2019, there were six homes sold, with a median sale price of $190,250 - a 20.7% decrease over the $239,950 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were three homes sold in Mount Vernon in August 2018.

The median sales tax in Mount Vernon for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $3,654, approximately 1.9% of the median home sale price for August 2019.
