Central City home prices rise in the first half of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2018 in Central City rose by $9,150 while total sales decreased by 26.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2018, there were 19 homes sold, with a median sale price of $100,000 - a 10.1% increase over the $90,850 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 26 homes sold in Central City in the first half of 2017.

The median sales tax in Central City for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $2,207, approximately 2.2% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2018.
