Central City home prices fall in the first quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2018 in Central City fell by $3,750 while total sales decreased by 11.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2018, there were eight homes sold, with a median sale price of $80,700 - a 4.4% decrease over the $84,450 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were nine homes sold in Central City in the first quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in Central City for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $2,207, approximately 2.7% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2018.
