Walker home prices rise in the second quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2018 in Walker rose by $11,500 while total sales increased by 100%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2018, there were six homes sold, with a median sale price of $113,500 - a 11.3% increase over the $102,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were three homes sold in Walker in the second quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in Walker for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $2,293, approximately 2% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2018.
