Marion home prices rise in February 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in February 2018 in Marion rose by $11,057 while total sales decreased by 12.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In February 2018, there were 51 homes sold, with a median sale price of $175,300 - a 6.7% increase over the $164,244 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 58 homes sold in Marion in February 2017.

The median sales tax in Marion for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $3,255, approximately 1.9% of the median home sale price for February 2018.
