Marion home prices fall in March 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in March 2018 in Marion fell by $24,500 while total sales decreased by 6.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In March 2018, there were 74 homes sold, with a median sale price of $158,500 - a 13.4% decrease over the $183,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 79 homes sold in Marion in March 2017.

The median sales tax in Marion for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $3,255, approximately 2.1% of the median home sale price for March 2018.
