Cedar Rapids home prices rise in March 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in March 2018 in Cedar Rapids rose by $1,910 while total sales increased by 13.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In March 2018, there were 224 homes sold, with a median sale price of $127,890 - a 1.5% increase over the $125,980 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 197 homes sold in Cedar Rapids in March 2017.

The median sales tax in Cedar Rapids for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $2,557, approximately 2% of the median home sale price for March 2018.
