On Sunday, March 2, former Mt Vernon High School standout Jenna Sprague’s current college team, the Washburn Ichabods, won 2-1 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Minnesota State Mavericks.

The game took place at Mid-America Sports Complex. This was their first matchup against the Mavericks this season.

The Ichabods’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 7 at 1 p.m. at RiverHawks Park against Northeastern State Riverhawks.
