Wednesday, March 12: Monticello High School standout Lizzie Stiverson’s college team wins to Illinois State Redbirds

On Wednesday, March 12, former Monticello High School standout Lizzie Stiverson’s current college team, the Illinois Fighting Illini, won 3-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Illinois State Redbirds.

The game took place at Eichelberger Field. This was their first matchup against the Redbirds this season.

The Fighting Illini’s next game is scheduled for Friday, March 14 at 3 p.m. at Eichelberger Field against Wisconsin Badgers.
