Congresswoman Ashley Hinson has announced the winner of the 2025 Congressional Art Competition for Iowa’s Second District. The honor goes to Asia Carter, a senior at Alburnett High School in Alburnett, Iowa. Her artwork, titled "Ranch Days," will be displayed in the U.S. Capitol.

In her statement, Congresswoman Hinson expressed her admiration for Carter's artistic abilities: "Congratulations to Asia on winning this year's Congressional Art Competition for Iowa's Second Congressional District. I'm amazed by Asia's talent as a young artist and look forward to seeing her artwork displayed in the United States Capitol."

The competition showcases the creativity and skill of young artists from across the district, providing them with an opportunity to have their work recognized on a national stage.
