Congresswoman Ashley Hinson, representing Iowa's 2nd District, has joined forces with Representative Adrian Smith from Nebraska's 3rd District to introduce the bipartisan Nationwide Consumer and Fuel Retailer Choice Act. This legislative proposal aims to permit the sale of E15 fuel across the United States throughout the year.
In a statement, Congresswoman Hinson emphasized the importance of this initiative for both energy production and economic benefits. "Securing consumer choice for nationwide, year-around E15 is an essential step to unleash domestic energy production and lower costs at the pump—all while supporting Iowa's ethanol industry and producers. I will continue advocating for biofuels as a commonsense, cost-effective, and clean-energy solution that not only supports Iowa's economy but advances America's energy sector," she stated.
