Congresswoman Ashley Hinson has been named to the National Shooting Sports Foundation's (NSSF) Dean's List for her efforts in safeguarding Second Amendment rights. Hinson expressed her concerns about the current administration's approach to gun control, stating, "The Harris-Biden Administration continues to target law-abiding gun owners and push thinly veiled attempts at gun control. I will continue working to protect the Second Amendment rights of law abiding gun owners, who care deeply about gun safety and combating violence, and should not be demonized by this Administration."

The NSSF's 2024 Congressional Report Card evaluates elected officials based on their actions related to firearm and ammunition industry priorities. Lawrence G. Keane, NSSF Senior Vice President for Government & Public Affairs and General Counsel, highlighted Hinson's contributions: "Members of our industry are grateful to have so many strong allies in the Halls of Congress. NSSF is proud to especially recognize Representative Hinson as a member of the new NSSF Congressional Dean’s List for her exemplary leadership in supporting the firearm and ammunition industry and the nearly 400,000 hardworking Americans employed in the industry."

Hinson's initiatives include supporting legislation such as the Protecting the Right to Keep and Bear Arms Act, which aims to prevent federal gun control measures during public health emergencies. She also backs the Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act and has introduced measures like the RIFLE Act to reduce taxes on firearms.
