WASHINGTON, DC – Congresswoman Ashley Hinson (R-IA-02) released a statement on President Biden's anticipated executive order regarding the Southern Border. The order aims to prevent illegal immigrants from seeking asylum after 2,500 illegal crossings per day.

"Americans see right through this last-ditch, election-year ploy from President Biden to feign interest in curbing illegal immigration. If President Biden cared about border security or protecting Americans, he would restart wall construction, enforce Remain in Mexico, and begin deporting illegal immigrants who pose a danger to our communities. This weak, watered-down executive order will still allow thousands of illegal immigrants into the U.S. - the right amount of illegal immigration is zero," stated Congresswoman Ashley Hinson.
