Washington, D.C. - On Memorial Day, Rep. Ashley Hinson (IA-02) released a video message honoring the brave men and women who sacrificed their lives serving our country
"On Memorial Day, we have an opportunity to pause and remember the brave men and women who sacrificed their lives in service to our country. Throughout our nation’s history, courageous Americans have answered the call to serve – putting their lives on the line to defend our liberties.
"Our cherished freedoms came at a cost of millions of lives – Americans who paid the ultimate sacrifice to ensure we can fly our flag, speak freely, and practice our religion without fear. While we will never be able to fully repay those who have served and laid down their lives, I will do my best to honor their sacrifice by working to ensure our veterans have access to the care and benefits they have earned.
