Washington, D.C. - On May 25, Congresswoman Ashley Hinson (R-IA-02) voted in support of H.R. 467, the Halt All Lethal Trafficking of Fentanyl (HALT Fentanyl) Act. The legislation will make the class-wide scheduling order for fentanyl permanent and give law enforcement, including local law enforcement and US Customs and Border Patrol, the tools to keep fentanyl off our streets.

"We are losing too many Americans to fentanyl. This crisis, exacerbated by our open Southern Border, is ripping families and communities apart. I was proud to vote for this bipartisan legislation to keep deadly fentanyl out of our communities and save lives." - Congresswoman Ashley Hinson
