The Marion Fire Department will host a monthly presentation on safety topics for older adults and families. All are welcome to attend.
The goals of the program are to focus on older adults’ safety, reduce their vulnerability to fire, injury or crime and connect them with available community resources. Many of the topics will be presented in partnership with other organizations, such as the Marion Police Department, the Marion Public Library, and Linn County TRIAD.
April: Almost 30% of ER visits due to adverse drug events were seen in elderly patients*. This presentation is designed to help you learn how to reduce the risk of adverse drug events.
