Introducing the 2023 Linn County Board of Supervisors and Elected Officials

Newly elected District 1 Linn County Supervisor Kirsten Running-Marquardt and incumbent District 2 Supervisor Ben Rogers were sworn in to office Dec. 29, 2022, filling the two open seats for the Linn County Board of Supervisors. Rogers and Running-Marquardt will each serve a 4-year term of service. District 3 Supervisor Louis J. Zumbach is beginning year three of his 4-year term on the Board of Supervisors. At the Jan. 3, 2023, Board of Supervisors meeting, the Board of Supervisors appointed Supervisor Zumbach to serve as Board chair and Supervisor Rogers to serve as vice chair for one-year terms. 

Linn County also welcomes three other new elected officials in 2023:

The 2022 general election was held on Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2022.

Linn County’s elected officials also include Auditor Joel Miller and Sheriff Brian Gardner. 

Miller and Gardner are beginning year three of their 4-year terms.
