City of Marion Declares Winter Storm Emergency; Garbage/Recycling Collection Remains On Schedule | City of Marion
The City of Marion is declaring a Winter Storm Emergency beginning at 7 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 22.
Parking on all city streets is prohibited during the snow emergency to minimize the hazards associated with snow removal operations.
Parking restrictions for the Winter Storm Emergency shall be in effect until noon on Friday, Dec. 23, 2022.
The garbage and recycling collection schedule for Marion residents should not be impacted on Thursday and Friday of this week.
Even with the Solid Waste Agency being closed, we were able to make alternate arrangements to continue providing this service.
