The City of Marion and Marion Parks and Recreation are encouraging residents to get into the festive spirit by decking their homes for the holidays. Decorators are encouraged to submit the address of their holiday light display in Marion so others can also enjoy its beauty.
To encourage participation, $500 in prizes will be awarded to the winners as determined by a panel of judges. A People’s Choice award winner will be selected by the community through online voting.
Submit your address via the form at www.cityofmarion.org/holidaylights by Monday, Dec. 12 at 5 p.m. A map/listing and link to vote will be published and available at the same URL.
