Pricing for the median home in Central City increased during Q3

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2022 in Central City rose by $74,900 while total sales decreased by 18.2 percent, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September, there were nine homes sold, with a median sale price of $199,900 - a 59.9 percent increase over the $125,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 11 homes sold in Central City in the third quarter of 2021.

The median sales tax in Central City for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $2,207, approximately 1.1 percent of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2022.
