This Risk Institute event will involve two topics. The first half will have Tom West from MakuSafe speaking on How Wearable Tech is Reducing Work Comp Claims & Improving Loss Control and then Jim Moody from Safety Solutions will finish the speaker portion of the webinar by discussing 9 Essential Topics of Workplace Safety. We will open up for questions after the two speakers are finished.

First Topic: How Wearable Tech is Reducing Work Comp Claims & Improving Loss Control (Tom West, MakuSafe) - Workforce wearables can go beyond biometrics and fitness, tracking useable data that’s relevant to employee safety and focused on the environment around an employee, not the employee themselves. This data includes things such as environmental hazards, slips/trips/falls/ergo concerns, location/proximity/contact tracing, and voice-reported near-misses.

Second Topic: 9 Essential Topics of Workplace Safety (Jim Moody, Safety Solutions) - It is no secret that employee safety training is a crucial aspect of running a business. Safety training is key to maintaining efficient workflows and ensuring the safety and satisfaction of staff at the same time. Learn about 9 essential workplace safety tips to provide your employees with the tools they need to complete their jobs efficiently and safely.
