Walker home prices rose in the first half of 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2021 in Walker rose by $46,501 while total sales increased by 16.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2021, there were seven homes sold, with a median sale price of $130,901 - a 55.1% increase over the $84,400 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were six homes sold in Walker in the first half of 2020.

The median sales tax in Walker for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $2,293, approximately 1.8% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2021.
