Come join Johnson County Conservation Naturalist, Frances Owen as we explore some of the wild foods we can forage and eat in September. Bring your favorite foraging basket or bag if you wish to harvest anything. We may wander off-trail, so participants are encouraged to wear long pants and close toed shoes. We will do our best to maintain distances of 6 feet or more between participants, it is strongly recommend that participants wear masks.

This program is approximately one hour long and takes place outdoors and features a walk over uneven terrain. We will meet at the Atherton Wetland just south of Ely. Advanced registration is required, and space is limited to 10 participants, including the instructor. The specific meeting time will be emailed to confirmed attendees.
