The Cedar Rapids Wellbeing Advisory Committee will hold an electronic meeting on August 6, 2020 at 8:30 a.m. An electronic meeting is being held because a meeting in person is impossible or impractical due to concerns for the health and safety of Council members, committees, staff and the public presented by COVID-19. An electronic meeting is allowed by Iowa Code Section 21.8 and Governor Reynolds’ Proclamations of Disaster Emergency.
Persons interested in commenting on the agenda items are encouraged to do so in writing by emailing Communitydevelopment@cedar-rapids.org. Comments received before Noon on August 5 will be provided to the members of the Committee prior to the meeting.
Participation in the meeting and commenting on agenda items will also be available via Zoom; members of the public may register using the Zoom link at: https://cedar-rapids.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_VUx-eiTaRH-QHsnE6xfqIQ
After your registration is approved, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar. Citizens only interested in watching the meeting who will not be providing public comment do not need to register for the Zoom conference.
