Center Point home prices rise in the second half of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2019 in Center Point rose by $17,100 while total sales increased by 62.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2019, there were 47 homes sold, with a median sale price of $187,000 - a 10.1% increase over the $169,900 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 29 homes sold in Center Point in the second half of 2018.

The median sales tax in Center Point for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $3,019, approximately 1.6% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2019.
