Walker home prices rise in the second half of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2019 in Walker rose by $30,430 while total sales decreased by 20%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2019, there were eight homes sold, with a median sale price of $153,750 - a 24.7% increase over the $123,320 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 10 homes sold in Walker in the second half of 2018.

The median sales tax in Walker for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $2,293, approximately 1.5% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2019.
