Marion home prices rise in 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in 2019 in Marion rose by $3,500 while total sales decreased by 13.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through December of 2019, there were 905 homes sold, with a median sale price of $173,500 - a 2.1% increase over the $170,000 median sale price for the previous year. There were 1,046 homes sold in Marion in 2018.
